Surely game developers would be wanting to use the full potential of the PS3? Just look at, for example, Uncharted 2, an insanely amazing game, smooth game play, stunning visuals and awesome story line. But, then you look at Black Ops and you can say they're two different types of games but, how can there be so much visual difference?
Then there's all that crap that happened with GTA: IV.. What the hell was that all about? Microsoft bought the rights to the first expansion packs and RockStar just rolled over and forgot about its roots with Sony? Some of you might not have even noticed this but, when I looked into both games on both systems I found that there was much more detail in the 360 version that the PS3 version! How is any of this fair when games that are available for both systems are not equal in standards for each system? Lets face it the PS3 has way more power than the 360 and no fanboy can produce evidence to say otherwise so why aren't gaming companies taking advantage of this? Next thing we know and PS3 exclusive titles like LBP or Uncharted will start cropping up on 360.. MGS Rising anyone?

Multi platform games look better on the 360 because there developed for the 360 and then ported onto the PS3 disk.
This utilizes around 25% of the Blu-Ray capacity.
If the games were developed for the PS3, the xbox version would have to be across up to 5 disks.... Not very good for marketing!

It's easier to make the games for the 360 since porting it to the PC is easier. The PS3 version has to suffer but it's partly Sony's fault.

Sony is annoying and there so tight it's unreal , But Still PS3 till i die :L , never really played xbox just not me tbh

Which is basically my main point.. Don't you think it's unfair for the customer? I actually do feel really let down after paying the money for a console which is effectively being short changed in game terms by game developers who are then benefiting from the mass amounts of people buying a game that isn't up to the standard of the system it is purchased for :/
Personally I don't think I'll be buying another title that isn't a system exclusive. Unless of course I'm sure that it is a good game.

No, it's definitely true. The only reason I came across it was because I was trying to figure out what the **** was wrong with the frame rate drops and tacky feel to the graphics. It's not just that though; the servers are absolutely shit, pretty sure I get kicked out after every game and it's got nothing to do with my connection because every other game I want to play online is fine.

microsoft pays vast amounts to have games sony just cant compete with microsoft capital

xbox has all the cash.... developers: lets go where the money is.. it would be building 2 games if they made it for the ps3 same game diferent graphics ect


build for xbox > port to ps3/pc.. you always start at the most incompitant consol/pc (except wii, thats not really a consol its just a joke) whitch happens to be the xbox


we all know the xbox is sub-standered sony will always bring out the best consols... ITS WHAT THEY DO (to all the fan boys out there)

microsoft dont need to spend + years developing and makeing a sublime system... they can just buy out the compedators and make even more than developing

I have seen comparisons and the graphics are the exact same on 360 and ps3 and frame rate drops are on both consoles same with d/cs.

If you want to see the PS3 at it's full potential, just dip into its exclusive games, they far beat the 360 exclusives by a long shot.
