(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Will buying the amplifier for my turtle beaches be worth the 90$?
Will it give me more of an advantage for black ops since I am currently just using the regular p21s.

To see what I'm talking about look at this video.

I am error
If you want my advice, don't waste your time. The sound whoring isn't nearly as advantageous in this game as it was in past COD's and I think that's a good thing.

It's time people start relying on gun skill and instinct rather than sound.

I have the PX21's. bought them about a week ago. I presviously owned the P21, which is the old model for just the ps3, and have also owned a pair of expensive Tritons. All in all im happy with the PX21's. I honestly don't feel like it worth spending over 100 dollars on a headset anymore. They all do just about the same thing and headsets usually last me about 6 months till they break or 1 ear stops working. I play a lot of Search and Destroy and I can say yes the PX21's have helped me pickup enemy footsteps and have found those people creeping and running in SnD. I'd go with the PX21's if I were you. They will do the job for BO.

6months to a year? I've had the x41s for 2 years this christmas with no issues.

I'd say with headsets its sheer luck. I've been PC gaming for almost 13 years now and have been through countless amount of headsets. I've had Turtle Beach, Triton, Logitech, Senhessier, and even cheap dynex ones. Even if you treat them good, it almost seems like each one has a lifespan. I've prob had the worst luck with them. Now I just get protection plans and whichever ones I buy and just break them before the protection plan ends.

Interesting. Sounds like a good buy, but I'd have to look at reviews first.
