Then when I tried to play a game it wouldn't load..."

So i went ahead and purchased the system and as he said the system boots up perfectly and the menu's work but when you put a game in the system dosent even show that its trying to read the disc. I took the PS3 apart cause i'm not about to pay 150 for a system and then 120 for sony to fix it...

long story short it wont load games the drive i don't even think spins so it might just be the drive but the kicker is when i downloaded demos to play it sits on a black screen and dosent even load the demos....

any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it would be much appreciated .. i will rep you for a good reply. Thanks

It's either a hardware or software fault. I got this error on my first ever PlayStation 3; 60GB model. What is your PlayStation 3's model? And when you place in a BluRay disc do you get the loading circle above on the right of the screen?

Im Having Similar Problems Mw2 Works Fine. Black Ops Did Work Then Crashed During in Game Loading Since That Happened, Black Op's Loads up on xmb Then As It Starts it goes black screen weird any feedback would be appreciated as my warranty ran out last week also it says error code 80028F50 Now And Again.
