I am looking at buying a hd pvr, and this is the problem i have

My L.E.D TV only has HDMI, no component, no scart, nothing else. It has 6 HDMI ports.

Now i know the hauppage comes with only Component HD, the 5 cables, but i cant physically connect this to my tv.

And the other problem is the HDMI from the PS3 to component.

Any help would be appreciated.

OVER 9000!
On topic: A cable adaptor/converter would obviously work if such one exists, just search component to hdmi adaptor.

Kinda on topic: There's a really, really good capture card called the black magic intensity that uses HDMI, and analog cables e.g. component You must login or register to view this content.

Afraid not.

The only way to record w/ HDMI on any system is w/ the Blackmagic Intensity Pro, and to the dude that said PS3's HDMI is encrypted- that's rubbish. If that were the case the TV wouldn't be able to read the data.
