Are you a fan of new features? Who isn't. If the latest rumors are true, feature-mongers will be happy to know that Sony and Sirius Satellite Radio may be teaming up in order to bring PlayStation 3 owners the subscription service for a low monthly fee. According to a "secret" insider from Blu-ray.com's forums -- who apparently has seen the plans already -- Sirius XM plans on offering monthly, genre-specific subscription plans for $2.49 a month.

It's not quite clear as to whether or not this will be streamed via a new widget on the PlayStation 3, similar to the news feed up top, or if users may have to go into their browsers to use the service through internet radio. If it's the latter, it will probably limit the number of potential subscribers to the service.

Until Sony and Sirius come out and announce this partnership, however, it's best to take it for what it is: a rumor.
