the would mean that any patches are undone and that you can do glitches to easily obtain trophies. (in this case black ops sacrificial lamb)

It depends if the game came loaded with trophies on the disc. Sometimes they release a patch which includes trophies.
If the disc has trophies, then you'll be able to get them still if you delete the patch (except the online trophies).
