(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey everyone, this is a very detailed thread indicating exactly how to get ANYTHING in Fallout 3 and New Vegas for free as well as getting all of the vendors caps.

This has been posted before quite a while back but I wanted to post a much more detailed tutorial as a lot of questions were asked.

Lets Get Started:

1. Make sure you have enough caps to buy the goods in the first place. and make sure that the vendor is SELLING either:

Two of the exact same weapons
Or
Two of the exact same types of armour
(The price and condition of the items do not have to match)

2. Buy everything you want, dont worry about spending a lot of caps.

3. Once you are done, ask him what he is selling.

4. Find the duplicate clothing or weapon and buy the cheapest one of it (Remember, you must always confirm your purchase every time you buy or sell from/to him)

5. Now sell it back to him. (Again, remember to confirm the sale by hitting Square

6. Find the same one and buy it again, it should now be fully repaired in your inventory, meaning it is worth its full value. Sell it back to the vendor once again.

7. It will not be repaired anymore, so you can keep repeating this process, making a profit everytime you sell it back to the vendor.

8. You will eventually have all your caps back and all of their's.


You can now walk away with fully repaired weapons, spanking new armour and your rucksack bursting with ammo AND more caps than you came with.
