How to delete your boot_history.dat

So, if Sony can't see your boot_history.dat, they can't ban you for running homebrew Winky Winky
You only need to run this if you've ran Homebrew, SNESx9 or File Manager.
So first off, you'll need a signed FTP on your playstation.

Go onto Blackb0x FTP on your PS3
Go to FileZilla on your computer
Connect your FTP to FileZilla
dev_hdd0/home/Now, there will be 00000000-- and so on, these are the accounts on your playsation. If yours is the one at the top on the XMB, It will be 00000001 So yours should be 00000001 or whatever/etc/right click on boot_history.dat/view/edit. It should open in a Notepad document, delete everything in there and go to file/save.

You have now deleted your boot_history.dat Smile

Nope, if you've edited the PARAM and do this, I don't see how Sony can find out you were running FTP.

Good idea, Sony can probably find another way, but it wouldn't be as blatant as this.

Ask a mod to move this to the ps3 hack section. This is very useful, but no one is gonna look here for stuff like this. lol This is practically a dead section
