you need to have cfw on your ps3 and the 1.05 patch on... and an ftp server
u go to dev_hdd0/game/blus30591(or whatever region ur b.o is)then you should see the file t5mp_ps3f.self.. copy it to your desktop
delete all black ops data off of your ps3 and download the 1.02 patch and install via *install packages... then go to dev_hdd0/game/blus30591(or whatever region your b.o is) and find the file t5mp_ps3f.self and replace it with the one on your desktop.
then run a proxy server and go on black ops and you will be able to do the prestige glitch and the splitscreen glitch, and you will be able to connect with all of your friends

step 1. you need to be on CFW 3.55 and also need Mossy patch blocker
step 2. download 1.05 from black ops if you don't have it yet but you should already. now you need to copy file t5mp_ps3f.self to your desktop for easy access.
Step 3. Delete the 1.05 patch DELETE IT.
Step 4. Install the 1.02 patch you downloaded thru PKG INSTALLER. You should now only be on 1.02 patch that is the patch you will need to be on.
Step 5. Replace the t5mp_ps3f.self you copied from the 1.05 patch and paste it over the 1.02 copy. that will allow you to connect to the 1.05 servers.
Step 6. Now you need to set up your ps3 proxy you can find a howto on here somewhere. once you set it up on the ps3 run MOSSY PATCH BLOCKER.
step 7. Now you are ready to sign in on the game you should now see in top right server number 53.33.43.6 then you are on the right server with 1.02 patch redsox will clear this up alot more and put it on the main page hope this helps you guys until he is finished his tutorial.

2. Everyone who´s getting kicked from multiplayer,that´s because you make some mistakes,so keep trying.
3. This method works perfectly. After 5 hours on CT I got prestige 14 in online, and worked really well.
4. No, the SnD CT trick is no longer available. You only can do it in 1.02 without changing the t5mp file, but then you will get reseted, so there´s nothing we can do.

im not sure i believe you because ive done this with the snd glitch and it took longer than 5 hours. Only 1.04 goes online and its *reset* btw. I remember the "shop"...it never worked so they just scrapped it, like they should do with the theater and the RcXd. as far as you getting 14th prestige with this method all i can say is *pics or it didnt happen*. a lot of kids are going to get deranked because you gave them false hope

Ehmmm, I´ve done it WITHOUT the SnD glitch, and took me 5 hours.
And this method is UNPATCHABLE, so if they ban you, just repeat it again, with 1 prestige less.

ehhhh, ok im confused...i didnt mean to imply anything about Sony banning ppl, which will never happen (the CFW is a different story). I was simply saying that the prestige glitch is like the holy grail of glitches and this all seems very.......hinkey. I did the day one glitch and it was easy to just grind to 50, but this is a whole different thing. I'm just going to stfu and see what develops i guess, its just that Billy Mcboogerpicker will derank himself and have no clue how to FTP and we're the ones that have to listen to that shit ALLLLL day....Hex to Decimal ftw

how do you copy the t5mp_ps3f.self to your desktop if you dont have FTP server and just file manger or do you have a download for me that i could use instead thanks!!
