This actually looks REALLY awesome ! You can charge up to 2 controllers with a extra 3 USB's in the back AND SD & MS Memory card readers.
Simply attaches to the side of your PS3, It also says "Matches to average HIFI form factor." which is pretty cool if you have it on your HIFI.

Yeah, I understand that, but the extender still needs to be able to communicate with the PS3 and I would have thought it would be via one of the native USB ports.

I can't find any more info on it atm.

Cool that Duracell is expanding, but I don't think the PS3 is the right direction unless they start making games.
