(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I started new Vegas and played it long enough to complete come fly with me and pick up the sniper friend. I trucked it to boulder city, got the gang to surrender and the army to let them go. I stopped there. Now my issue is that I didn't start the game on hardcore and if I play this through I'd like to get the plat.

Do you think I should keep going, get everything else I can, then re run it speed mode? Or do you think I should just start over now?

You're going to have to complete it at least 4 times to get the Platinum, as there are 4 silver trophies you get once you complete the game with the 4 different main factions. These trophies are:
The House Always Wins - Complete the game when you side with Mr. House
Render Unto Caesar - Complete the game when you side with Caesers Legion
For the Republic - Complete the game when you side with the NCR
Wild Card - Complete the game when you side with Yes Man.

So If I were you, I'd just keep going to complete this playthrough, and you can choose Hardcore mode at the start at one of the other 3 playthroughs. :y:

Is there no way to save, side with a faction, get the tropy, then reload?

There is, but you'd have to re-load back to quite an early save, because if you start siding with a particular faction, the other factions will no longer accept your help.

What would you say the time of a re-run is on average?

Matters what who you side with. Yes man probably the shortest one if you don't do any of the quest for the factions (5-8 hours) Ncr is the second shortest if you just stick to the main quests (around 10 hours) Mr. House ending about 12 hours. Have no idea about the legion since i never did it.

I have about 73 hours on my latest play through. There a guide on how to beat it on hardcore within 2 hours. if you want it just pm me.

That may be the way to go. I'll have to make a save before I end up choosing a faction to side with. I'll probably try to do every trophy-giving side quest prior to doing so.

When your on the boomers quest you should make 4 saves as at the end it will seal who you want to win.

i created a save after ending the mission where you finally meet up with benny and chose what to do with him, because after that, u can go on and chose who u wanna play for, with a clean slate Smile
