I am error
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Which gaming console do you think is better, overall?
I'd like to hear an argument, so feel free to let it all out. I have a PS3 right now, and I keep trying to debate with my peers about these consoles. So, which do you think is better?

PS3 - Simple.

There's many little benifits of having the PS3 that adds up, and that's the reason it's better.

I'll start off with the PS3 having more exclusive games, it's free online game-play, you have the ability to create more then 1 account for free, more mature gamers, and it's not filled with little kids.

The price of XBL isn't really the point, it's not an issue BUT why would you pay for something you can obtain for free, that just doesn't make any sense.
Also, PS3 has better graphics and it hasa the ablity to play Blu-Ray Discs. That's also important, because who really wants to buy a Blu-Ray for the same price they could buy a PS3.

I own both gaming consoles.

Xbox IMO is better due to party chat. However if PS3 had party chat, it would possibly be the better of the two.

Current online situation: I currently choose not to play online because my firmware is 3.55 CFW. Although i am aware of proxy/dns/server bypass for 3.56, i just can't be bothered going online with PS3 anymore. I prefer XBOX online mainly because of party chat and also the faster loading times of games and also the wider selection of games for it. The PS3 however is great use for playing new games off your HDD...Legally (Just to keep Sony happy) Smile

So what you're saying, one system is better just because of one option? I really could careless that PS3 doesn't have the party chat, I don't want to talk with my friends unless they are in my game.

It was also down to the fact that the xbox, because it is getting financial back-up from the money made off xbox live, it can afford to make more deals with gaming companies hence why there are so many exclusives for the xbox. To be honest, i was getting dragged back slowly but surely to the PS3 but the carry on with Sony and their attempts to damper the people who want to take gaming to the next level has completely offset me from the console i once adored so much. Xbox's party chat you cannot beat, not only can you play games on your ps3 whilst talking to your friends, but it is also alot easier to invite friends/message people whether it be your friends or random people to host a lobby in CoD. I'd recommend you get a xbox.

EDIT: I got xbox mainly because all my friends had ps3 back in the golden days of 2007/08. People realised that the rubbish connection was not going to change for online, people went as far as changing their broadband to make the difference but even that did not work. People got tired and traded in the ps3 for a xbox. I was going to follow suit but decided to stay a ps3 die-hard... until i got a xbox Smile

For one, people that groan about connections obviously have no idea how the connection system works. XBL is just as bad, you're paying for something that's the EXACT SAME.

The online game-play connection is hosted by player connection, you can't change nor can Sony. Also, why would you want to talk to your friends that are playing a different game anymore, there's no point in that.
PS3 has more exclusive games - FYI.

PS3 is the better console, there's no doubt about that.
I'm not saying XBOX 360 isn't a bad console, it's just the PS3 is more bang for the buck.
