To be honest, i was getting dragged back slowly but surely to the PS3 but the carry on with Sony and their attempts to damper the people who want to take gaming to the next level has completely offset me from the console i once adored so much. Xbox's party chat you cannot beat, not only can you play games on your ps3 whilst talking to your friends, but it is also alot easier to invite friends/message people whether it be your friends or random people to host a lobby in CoD. I'd recommend you get a xbox.
EDIT: I got xbox mainly because all my friends had ps3 back in the golden days of 2007/08. People realised that the rubbish connection was not going to change for online, people went as far as changing their broadband to make the difference but even that did not work. People got tired and traded in the ps3 for a xbox. I was going to follow suit but decided to stay a ps3 die-hard... until i got a xbox
For one, people that groan about connections obviously have no idea how the connection system works. XBL is just as bad, you're paying for something that's the EXACT SAME.
The online game-play connection is hosted by player connection, you can't change nor can Sony. Also, why would you want to talk to your friends that are playing a different game anymore, there's no point in that.
PS3 has more exclusive games - FYI.
PS3 is the better console, there's no doubt about that.
I'm not saying XBOX 360 isn't a bad console, it's just the PS3 is more bang for the buck.
