Yea it does but its the worst quality. If your just starting buy a dazzle they cost about $50 and have decent quality and the HD Pvr is the best but cost $200.

An easy cap is really cheap, and with cheap products come cheap quality. Dazzle's cost more and have some decent quality, after all is it actually meant to copy DVDs. If you want the best quality, then the Hauppauge HD-PVR is the right choice. But if all you want to do is capture video and aren't all too concerned about the video, then a Dazzle is a pretty good choice.

You can get a dazzle for $50, and an HD PVR for $150.
