The very anticipated title
Killzone 3 for the Playstation 3 is going to be in 'open beta' for two weeks, starting on February 2nd. This will be for
all registered users of Playstation Network, so this isn't only for Playstation Plus subscribers. There will be four different types of game modes in the beta, which include:
Guerrila Warfare - This is a 16-player game mode, which is basically Team Deathmatch.
Warzone - This game mode includes 24-players, it has been added onto
Killzone 3 from
Killzone 2. If you don't know what Warzone is, it's a huge game with five different objectives that are chosen at random.
Operations -
A 24 player mode and was included in Killzone 2. It consists of five random mini-missions. Operations is a 16 player mode and is new to the series. It promises to be a more dramatic, story based mode using linear mini-mission.
Botzone[/i] - This is considered 'offline' multiplayer, you will be facing 15 computer-based bots by yourself. I'm guessing this was added in so you could have a feel of what the story is going to be like, & to show you that
Killzone 3 won't just be about the multiplayer.
Note - All italicized text in paragraphs / sentences is not my writing, it is the original writer of the topic's wording of the article, all credit goes to him/her.

If you don't see where the sticker is, it's the dogtag above the Sony & Playstation Network symbols. [/color][/i]
There has not been a specific release date for the beta of
