(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello everyone! Guys I've been going through several posts in here and I see that most of you talk about the jailbroken PS3. I'm curious about it, I know that it will let you play and modify games, but I don't have any further information. I wanted to know if I can play online if I jailbroke it, if I have a chance to unjail it, etc. I'm scared of doing this as I bough my PS3 with a lot of effort, and in my country (Argentina) is really expensive (3000 pesos = 1000 dollars) so before **** up the PS3 I wanna have any information that could help me out to decide.

I know it might sound noobish, and there might be a lot of Posts, Threads explaining, but I believe that I need all the info in here so I don't get messed up.

When it comes to this game hacking stuff, i must admit to being a NOOB. I was accustomed to the cheat devices from the ps 1 & 2 so this new stuff is foreign to me.

I've looked around and seen plenty of "package" hacks for different games, which i'd love to try out, but they all have the same stipulation that your PS3 must be jailbroken. I really have no clue what jailbroken means or what it entails doing to the PS3.

I searched around these forums for a "how to" but I've been unsuccessful. So would someone please assist on how to jailbreak a PS3? I'd greatly appreciate the enlightenment.
