Sorry if you can't read anything on it. My TV is so shitty and old(it only has mono audio, for Christ's sake) it looks like shit up close.
Anyways, Black Ops stats (not patch/fastfiles/retail eboot) hacked. Tutorial soon.
Several people can confirm this is legit. Mainly, TTT_Dutch, and some others.
By the way, this sticks. I reset my PS3 multiple times, ran the game from a backup, and even bought things. It is permanent.
Yes, any stat can be modified. Scores, wins, kills, I have modified them all, and it sticks.

Make the tut. sort of brief at first, dont want the it to be like the CFW and everyone thinks there amazing hackers because they have a first grade reading level and a usb drive.

2: SCHAOS released a tutorial on how to do this AGES AGO! people are just blind/lazy to do it themselfs.
and to SYN1ST3R: If anyone was to get paid for this, it should ATLEAST be SCHAOS for taking time to make a nice tutorial. It's a shame his tut isnt noticed by people, it really needs to be a sticky.

Ya but he did it online.. Which requires a retail to be modded... And we can't mod retails yet.
BTW Schaos is an awsome guy! He helped me all day today and I finally got everything to do with the eboot down!
Now I am having trouble with cfgs though. I am 99% sure I bound them correctly but it still isnt working..
Btw check out his rep.. I don't think he has enough for all he did! I already gave him so much I can't thank any post..

omfg a retail eboot does not need to be edited. blah its a simple patch in the version. well thats one way, theres a ton others to play on the updated servers xD

we knew it was self modding all along. but didnt know how to decrypt a retail .self or how to get a debug .self on our servers :S

Here are a few guess's...
1. Change what server the eboot connects to.
2. Change the version within the eboot.
If these are wrong please don't hold them against me. I mean everyone has to have a first time to be introduced to something..

it has to be one of those ways... because how do patches lead us onto a server.. either a version number or something in the eboot that tells our blackops where to go.
there must be a reference in the eboot like how we found the XML to download the debug patches...
tonight im just going to scroll through both Eboot. and t5mp in IDA and see if i can find something..

that quote could have many meanings.. patch as in .ff or u could be talking about .self mods.
but we cant look inside of the fastfiles as we dont have RSA keys. looking into them could determine if the .ff tells blackops what server or the .self tells blackops what server.
