First i turned on my tv and got to my channle and turned on my ps3.... on the tv abt 2 or 3 gray lines flashed and nothing appeared. My other controller that was charging stoped charging and the other controller that was suppose to connect as Controller 1 never conected. So i pressed the little power button on the front to turn it off and try again but it wouldnt turn off (i held it for over 15 seconds). So i had to turn it off from the back. two hours later i tried again but the same respone. The light is solid green and if i put a Disk in the blue light apeared. So if someone could give some tips plzz do so, i dont realy want to return it to sony for another one cuz i got a lot of stuff on it but if i have to i will.

If u have any tips or ideas what it might be plzz tell me.

make sure wires are in correctly and make sure out put settings are ok.

Happened 2 me, ur ps3 may b on its last legs! Mine went green and nothing would appear on the screen. After about 10 minutes of it being on the light went.... YELLOW!

i checked the wires but all r perfect and i hope mine doesnt get the yellow light, but if it does o well i still have my waranty

Everything you worked for is gone. There is no way of recovering the HDD , but i posted a tut on how to remove yellow lights.

turn ur ps3 on from front. hold down button till uhearr a beep. restart ur ps3 from fron, hold down front button till u hear 2 quick beeps, then rebuild. it will give u that option

well if you do have to send it in at least save your game saves with a flash drive

put it in your playstation and go to them all and click copy then what flash drive you have jus trying to help yh out i litl bit.
