I have a backup of my system before i jailbroke so id put that back on, but would anything happen to my console if i formatted? I have awesome file manager on 3.55 FW and yeah, would i brick or should i delete awesome file manager, the modded game saves and then format?

Do a full format before you go to bed then by the time you wake up, it will be ready for you to install 3.55. Then when the OS is on, run the backup utility to get your backup on. No, your PS3 will not brick.
