I suggest resetting your wireless router and then go to your network or internet settings on your PS3 and redo all that. See how that works.
If that doesn't work I suggest going to the official playstation forums and you'll have a lot of anxious nerds at the ready to answer your question.

dude i'm on the same problem , i dont know what to do ?i reset my router, reconfig every thing , put ps3 on DMZ, PORTFORWORD but still same error ,between i live in UAE also , so plz if u find any answer or solution tell me .
and i already checkd playstaion3 usa fourms but nothing much there but alot said its may be sony server acting

Same thing is happening to me and I live in the UAE. Really sucks cause I was looking forward to playing CoD5 today. Atleast now we know that it might be a Sony issue and not something specific with us.

the funny thing ammar that looks like ITS middle east only got this problem, i checkd europe and USA forums they dont have our issue

Must be something to do with reaching the PSN server in the Middle East... If it isn't solved soon that'll really suck.

me and my clan playing killzone 2 and cod5 we are a mix of British and American but very cool people , between I'm Arab also so if u interested i would add u ,
However we can make our own clan from these forums
