probably brick your console so if anything happens just download the OFW from SONY's website and then install it on your system and whatever update comes up update with the OFW on in case of any bricks ect..

if you are on CFW you have to install the 3.55 OFW first before updating to a newer OFW .
it either brick you system or lead to bann when they discover.
but now worries til the end of Feb. March. Sony wont release a new update :p
they are way to busy on the GeoHot/Fail0verflow Lawsuit and how they are going to solve the Leaked Root Key Problem :rolleyes:
