MY PS3 Wont Install Original FW

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Everytime I try to install original Firmware from USB flash drive it keeps telling me No Applicable Data was found....When I have the PS3UPDAT.PUP file on the drive and have tried everything. It wont work ...

I have the old school 60GB Fat PS3

Is the flash drive set up like this? root -> PS3 -> UPDATE -> PS3UPDAT.PUP
Also did you try to update using safe mode?

Yes I have formatted the flash drive multiple times and yes it is set up like that root-->PS3-->UPDATE-->PS3UPDAT.PUP
