so i just copied this from one thread to another Thread so its easy to find.
I Whrote it on My Other Thread but It Has To be easy to find so i give it an extra Thread. so lets go

1. Disconnect Your Ps3 From The Ethernet ( remove cable / shut down wireless )
2. if you are on CFW download Whipe History v2.0
3. install it
4. Remove ALL other Homebrew AND Backups From Your Ps3
5. Run Whipe History v2.0
6. Now Download OFW 3.55 And Install It ( PS3 -> UPDATE -> PS3UPDAT.PUP )
( if install Fails on the XMB try recovery Menu )
7. After Installing OFW 3.55 Run Whipe History Once Again
8. Delete Whipe History ( Make Sure You DONT have any Backups , Homebrew Left !!! )
9. Now REMOVE your USB stick
10. Connect To The Ethernet Again
11. Try to log in on PSN , a message will appear that you need to update click ''YES''
12. Update to 3.56
Note : If you where hosting CL on MW2 you can relax you still can , If you have hacked on BlackOps go check it you might be Banned
Folow This TUT Carful and dont get Banned By SONY !!!!!
Its 100% Tested by me and allot of friends !! i you have ANY Questions PM me !

i updated but i forgot to delete history will i get banned?
i deleted cfw and i was on ofw before new update i also deleted filemanager before update ...write back plz

Do i have to delete the homebrews like black box and awesome file manager on the normall way ? Like ( Triangle and then delete? or is there a special way to delete it?)
And what do you mean with Backups? like savegame data? <do i have to delete that?

till now i just can tell you delete with triangle .
there should be an pkg Erase Me.pkg but i didnt test it so i dont trust it
if anything hapeds feel free to ask owke !?

soo i dont have to delete my save game data? :p
Because i didnt rlly make any backups

run your backupmanager and delete the Games you backuped =D if you never used Backupmanager or Backuped an game you dont have to do that step
