What I am trying to attempt is to trick the black ops servers by making it think that I have a different mac address.. I guess the servers would think that my mac address is the one on my laptop instead of my banned ps3's mac address.. I did a quick search for a thread to my question, but with the millions of threads that pertain to being console banned on B.O., it would take me forever to find out what I am looking for.. Oh, yeah, is this method even possible, has anyone tried it out yet?? Thx for helping... I just need to set this up for one night..

its not a mac address ban or ip ban, idk wtf it is. Your ps3 has 2 different mac addresses, the wireless mac address and the lan mac address for wired connections, I switched my connection from wired to wireless and I was still banned. =/

Damm that sucks.. I guess they got a pretty good grip on our ban then... Thx anyways..
