Sony is actually terribly , Incredibly, and utterly stupid. Filing lawsuits against others who work to make the ps3 at least a little fun. Shit gets boring on the ps3, they don't give us the features we want and expect us to "behave" ? Sony should expect to loose over thousands of customers to xbox, not only for the geohot case but for the fact of they give us bullshit features , honestly Im sure not one person has used that playstation life bullshit.
Only pervs use playstation home, at least xbox listens to their customers demand and needs.

SONY is just failing and playing dirty with the judge therefore they know if they dont do it the dirty way Geo would hack himself out of court.

I understand why everyone's upset with the whole Geohot thing, as well as Sony trying to show 'who's the bigger man'. I noticed where you mentioned, 'XBox listens to their customers demands and needs.' Hence, CUSTOMER. We're not paying ANYTHING to play on Playstation Network. When Black Ops came out, I was one of the nerds who paid over $100 to get that ghetto car, Prestige package, and I played it, and played it, and played it. Now? I don't give a flying **** about it. I'm tired of the freezing, and the lagging. At least on MW2, I don't have to waste an entire clip into someone before I hopefully kill them. I don't know if having Sony evolve into something like XBox has; making us pay for their features, or etc. If they do that, more stricter, more proper security measures will be made, and at the same time, they'd lose their PS3 devoted fans, and a majority of their 10 year old 'EPIC GAMING KIDS'. lololol. I hope everyone CONTINUES to hack their sh!t. If they're too stupid to stop it, then there's no point in trying. Right? In the end, **** happens. Geohot is brilliant, and without any doubt in my mind, one of the most talented hackers in the world. Too bad I'm computer illiterate, or I'd have some fun with my PS3. I need simple step by step instructions to work with. lol. Have a wonderful/awesome/KICKANUS day.

Funnily enough it's actually legal to hack your phones firmware.
So Geohot can do anything he wants to his windows phone. Which he got by free *stomps feet*.
It's only a matter of time until it's legal to customise your ps3's firmware. As it falls under the same rule as the iphone legal saga did "I own it so i can do whatever i want with it"
