I take it you've been booting into safe mode ect.. recently? Well, when you do that you get a screen saying a HDMI cable was detected, you click yes to use it, but it doesn't ask if you want to configure your sound settings. So right now you're just getting sound from your HDMI cable.
Go to sound settings and enable multi out.
This is assuming you're doing it through your Ps3.
