please help my NAT type on black ops is Strict , i cant join my friends & my friends cant join me

i need to change it to Open :(

but i dont know how

my Router : THOMSON TG585 v7

you need to go into your router and set up port forwarding. their are websites that can assist you with this for your specific router. if it is still strict you might need to set up a static ip for your ps3

The video is for xbox, but it works pretty much the same for a Playstation.

Way easier trick, dunno y almost no1 use it, found by indy1995: just insert mw2 in ur ps3, go to online lobby, then leave game ans start black ops (w/o restarting ps3), then u get NAT TYpe open

A few of my friends with moderate and strict NAT types can confirm this method.

I have open myself, but they said you can get open for a few days before they went back to strict etc.

Ive been using this since the game came out,takes about 30 more seconds to do,not long at all.Agree knowone really knows about it.Alot easier then configuring your modem/router if your not too confident in that type of thing:420:

Do a barrel roll!
erm write ur ip address in the url bar it will ask you for a username and pass if u never changed it the user is admin and pass is password then from there look for dns and write ur last number of your ip address there and u got open all the time

i think it works only w/ mw2, cuz i think that u dont got any nat type options in the cod's before, correct me if im wrong
