(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay ive been getting messages from people saying that they need to update to the new 3.56 firmware or you might get bricked im still on 3.55 and im scared that when they patch the dns that i will get bricked is this a big possibilty or no cuz if it is then im gonna need some help to see if i can update without being online please give me some info if you have any im sorry im a nub:jim:

If you want to update so you can sign into the Playstation Network and your on 3.55 CFW, there are a few things you can to safely update:

1) You must login or register to view this content.


2) Personally I just found a 3.55 OFW (official update data) and went back to that, then updated. It worked fine and I have not been banned.

Yea I'm getting messages too, saying to update again because the original 3.56 had an error or something... I don't know what to do, I'm already on 3.56

idn what to do either. I dont think you will have to because it doesnt show up when you try and log in. And, that'd mean sonywould be bricking innocent people, because, i know people that dont even know about this cfw stuff, they are signed up on gaming sites

Wait never mind, I forgot I updated last night, I tried to today and It said I had the latest update, but I updated again from 3.56, weird.
