Who cares about backwards compatibility, just buy a PS2. Or emulate PS2 games on your PC. Or even, download or buy a PS2 game port remastered for PS3 like for example God of War collection, Sly Cooper Collection etc...

Unless it's mint condition and might have a chance to sell in the future; keep it. If not trade it.

Yep, i would trade it, you are defo more likely to get ylod soon on the phat one and i would upgrade to the 320gb one. Possibly upgrade that to a 500gb or more. alternatively get an external hdd for it, if you need that much room tho.
