(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi,i am trying to use my old ps3 HDD 120 gb in my 2.5'' SATA enclosure.

When i plug it into my computer, the old ps3 HDD runs but the computer can't see it.... Is that has something to do with the HDD being in a special format ( not NTFS, Fat32 or even encrypted files) and my computer can't see it or something ?

How can i format it ?

Thanks

e/ i can see the HDD in administrative tools. I need to format it. how ?

Damn i am way too good. Fixed my problem myself.

Went into administrative tools and clicked create a new partition on the said HDD selecting the whole 120 gb.

Works.

Thanks to me.

there is an app called swiss knife that will allow you to format it. or you can pop in a linux live cd and format it with that. search for solutions online. my pc sees my ps3 hdd as unformatted media
