I'm still downloading the beta, but i'm sure it is like most betas and they don't want to ruin the surprise of the weapons. The ones they do add are mostly for testing purposes.

I really hope so, as there are not very many weapons in the beta, I don't think it's game breaking, but it certainly is a disappointment if that's all the weapons in the game.

Dare i ask what wrong with the current number ?

It's only 2 of each type, 2 SMGs, 2 LMGs, 2 Shotguns (I don't think there's 2 of those, not sure,) and 2 snipers. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of variety, but I just wish there were some more choices and like different guns that excel at different things inside of each class.
