[You must login or register to view this content.] must be planning to do a lot of travelling because he’s entombed his PlayStation 3 in a Pelican case. Inside you’ll find some diamond-plate bezel to cover the console itself and used to surround the 19-inch high-definition television that is mounted to the lid of the case. In the picture above you see the door that lifts to reveal foam cutouts for a TV remote and two six-axis controllers. There’s no battery and no wireless Internet, but connection for the power cord, Ethernet, component video, and HDMI have an external port on the base of the enclosure. There’s also two fans to keep everything cool, and on the front you’ll find two USB ports and a headphone jack.

Tell me what you think about it below.

It is cool, but will get the PS3 overheat? It needs at least from 4 to 6 cm to prevent overheat, no matter of the fan...

I wouldn't think so I mean with 2 fans plus the PS3's. He may also have the adapter that adds another fan onto the PS3. I think it would be OK.

How was the TV being powered?

No way enough cooling on this, would overheat within half hour.

If you plug that "another fan" ONTO the PS3 then he will be overheating the console as the 2 or 3 extra fans are using energy from the PS3, that will make it require more energy, which will be the consequence of more heating, so those fans are useless in the end.
If you were saying the fans that are plugged via cable to the wall or plug in the box then well, it is cool.

But I believe you are right if it has 2 fans plus the one in the PS3...I hope he doesn't get YLOD or PS3 Overheat.
