(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Right, everytime I turn my PS3 on it comes up with:
Cannot start.
The correct hard disk was not found.

This is what it looked liked:
You must login or register to view this content.

What happened 2 days ago was it said that your filedisk is corrupted and needs to be restored, so yesterday I left it overnight night to restore and checked it in the morning and the PS3 was working fine so I turned it off and went to school. When I got home from school I turned on my PS3 and then put a CFW on, once that had done I installed MutiMan. Then I went on to COD5:W@W and played on that for a bit, while I was playing my PS3 froze, so I turned it off and then turned it back on and this is what happened.

What I have done so far is just taken out the hard drive and then put it back in, but still no luck.
Also I have a PS3 Slim 120gb if that makes a difference.
So I need a solution, anyone can help ?

Thanks
Sik

This is what you need to do.

Take a screwdriver and unscrew the blue screw and then pull out the hard drive. (Don't unscrew the other screws, just the Blue one).

To pull out the hard drive you need to take the little metal handle and pull it to the right, then pull it out towards you.

After you take out the hard drive, just put it back into the PS3.

To put the hard drive back into the PS3, use the little metal handle on the front of the hard drive and push it to the left while the hard drive is inside the PS3.

This has happend to my PS3 when I first got it and after I took out the hard drive and put it back in, it solved the problem.

I called Sony Customer service and they told me to do this as well, so it should do the trick.

you can always try reformatting your hard drive via safe mode or some pieces of hardware that allows you to format it via having it hooked up to your PC

With a SATA HDD USB docking station, its a useful piece of hardware, but it'll run you about 60$
