No you can't play in HD because the dazzle isn't able to pick up resolutions that high. Are you using the proper a/v cables?

Sorry no you cant. If you have a HD TV, return your dazzle (if its not to late) and buy a HD PVR. It will record in HD and you can play in HD. +rep if I helped u
