(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a friend with a broken PS3. The BD drive doesn't work. Is it easily replaceable, and is it expensive, because I may buy it from him, because he hasn't updated since before 3.54, and I want to downgrade it to 3.41.

im form holland so sorry for my bad english,
First of all u must check the end of ur serial number. The circuitbord of the hard drive mus be compatible with de motherbord.

some models have the same motherbord have a look at this site en scroll down to PS3MOTHERBOARD.
