There have been add-ons and etc.. to these as we all know but let's to get to the discussion below.

Discussion

In this thread there will be a poll on which Game do you think was most successful/the one you liked the most.
I end up in the category of Starting to play the "Cod" Series was in World at War and in Cod4. I remember when those we 2 great games that were out. Always when I got home I use to Jump on Cod4 and W@W.

I know we all had great times if you ever played those call of duty games above but in the real fact look who started it all. Infinity Ward and published by Activision. Infinity ward knew what the customers wanted and so they got down to business and produced us the "Cod" Series for gamers.

After playing legit for awhile in those games but there was a nudge and we call those people the Modders and Hackers. I have no biggie with them at all. I can see why they do it because playing a legit game over and over can get boring so they decide to change it up a bit. It's fun when you get to see what you can actually do and make. It's only when they start to effect you in a negative way. Then the producers got smart and decided to patch lot's of things once they got big. That brings me to a question. What first mods do you guys remember? I remember doing the Cod4 Mods with the Usb and even the Ufo Hack. Then I can not forget the World at war mods via transfer cable with Hex Editor. I would like to see what you guy's have to say about all of this.

Then came the glitches and tricks and yes bring on the glitches and tricks. The old Cod4 bounces, Even the Elevators that people found. Those can get you out of the map. Just tricks even that would give you something to do.

I would like to hear all of your opinions on what you want to say. I loved all of these games and everything you could do with them but then here comes CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS. I'm not saying this is a bad game but seriously there is something wrong with it. I use to have that urge to play all the other Cod's up to this one. Black Ops does that have that feeling like the others did. These is like a joke to me this game. It's like they put it together real quick. What makes me mad is what they added to it before looking into other things. I mean really come on a "Report" Button? Wtf is that? They could have improved the graphics much more but no we have to put in a report button and features to ban people forever form this game. I thought at first this would be a great game but it is just not the same it is like a was expecting something bigger and better.

There is lot's more things that I can rant on about but I just wanted to get some things out there about the Series and see what is it like to you guy's?

All discussion is open for you to post it. I hope this thread means something to you. Much appreciation.

It all started from COD4 for me, not like those noob that came in at MW2 just because it was advertised to much. Also, IW will always be the best, even tho they ****ed up with MW2 COD4 is still the best <3 ! Black Ops & MW2 brought to many noobs !

Call of Duty 4 was the best for me hands down. MW2 became broken as people discovered OMA nube tubes and overpowering killstreak combinations. All the other ones are pretty boring.

I take it you never played CoD4 or WaW? Just because they had less features didn't and still doesn't make them automatically inferior.

yeah i have cod 4 but i bought it after i played cod mw2 cause i thought it was better but mw2 is better to me. cod 4 is alright but i prefer mw2. And i played W@W but not many people play it on xbox without hacks so i barely play it because most of the lobbies i join are ISO hackers

First of all I have to say World at War was my first cod game that I have ever played, and the fact that it was set in the WWII era just kept me interested, the maps were great, they had some pretty neat spots for getting great vantage points when sniping, the fact that they had dogs as a killstreak, well that for me sealed the deal, I don't know why but something about watching people getting their butts chewed off by dogs was pretty darn funny, as people would try to run but most of the time they would get bit. The maps were perfect for SnD which is one of my favorite game modes in COD. Now the fact that this was the first installment of COD that was developed by Treyarch, they didn't fail to impress and bring a whole new factor to the game, and that was ZOMBIES!!! You guys have to admit that playing zombies was a great way to just chill and have fun with your friends, I for one had most of my memories of W@W on Zombies. Also them adding more zombie maps with the DLC's were just amazing, it just kept me wanting to come back for more. I for one give W@W props for their own unique style that they brought to the gaming world.

COD 4, well what have I got to say? COD 4 was the bomb, the campaign brought it's exciting moments. but the most fun I had was on multiplayer. Although I had not played COD4 as much as I did W@W, well it was pretty fun completing challenges and ranking up. Especially when I unlocked the Ak, OMG was that the best day of my life, I for one am an Ak fanatic, and when I first used it on COD4 damn was I ever impressed. There were alot of people spraying the Ak as if it were some kind of SMG, which kinds ticked me off since I kind of found it funny, while I on the other hand were sniping people from a distance and wasting very little amo just so I could take down an enemy. COD4 you truly were one of a kind.

MW2, after playing W@W for a while, I thought that i'd give MW2 a shot, and hey Infinity Ward didn't fail to deliver. The campaign pissed me off when Sheppard betrayed Ghost near the end. THAT ON MY PART WAS A DICK MOVE!! Care to disagree? Well although the Campaign was all good, multiplayer was the shit, just having fun unlocking weapons, attachments, camo's, titles & emblems. MW2 added a new twist to the whole COD experience by introducing PRO perks, customizable killstreaks and loadouts. I for one enjoyed the game for the first month and a half, but right around christmas, when all the little kids were off from school, well thats when it started to go downhill for me, as the more noobs that played the game, the more I started to hate it, as Javelin glitches were being exploited, OMA + noob tubes, camping in corners for killstreaks, & infinite carepackage glitch. Like god damn, whenever someone on the other team used the infinite care package glitch to exploit Emergency Airdrop's well that for me drew the line and I just stopped MW2 alltogether.

Black Ops came along, well what have I got to say? Only real reason that I bought it was for zombies, the fact that they reintroduced zombies just made me want to buy it soo badly, but when I first played it I was shocked that they didn't incorporate the M60 into the random box. Why they didn't incorporate the weapon is a mystery, but the fact that they did add some new unique weapons into the mix such as the Zeus Canon, well that was pretty sick. Multiplayer well I found that to be a disappointment. They said that lower level players would no longer be at a disadvantage buy incorporating this new system of being able to purchase your weapons with COD points, but the truth of the matter is, lower level players will always be at a disadvantage no matter what. Also the killstreaks were pretty good, except for the fact that you will see alot of people RCXD's rolling around including spy plane. Is it just me or does it seem like there's infinite UAV? Black Ops has some flaws, but other than that it's pretty good. The only thing I really hate is that it's not as interesting as previous COD titles, and the fact that the GAME GOT BORING really quick.

Well thats just my opinion, but yea COD4 FTW!! W@W Zombies FTW!!
