(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); April 14, 2009 - Several upcoming PlayStation Network games were announced in February and today Zen Studios revealed a little more information on one of those titles: Zen Pinball. From the makers of Xbox Live Arcade's Pinball FX, Zen Pinball brings the silver ball to the PSN for the first time along with head-to-head online bouts and multi-day worldwide tournaments.

"The PlayStation Network has a wide variety of great game offerings but it's lacking a classic arcade pinball game like Zen Pinball," said Zsolt Kigyossy, managing director for Zen Studios. "This is a title for everyone's game library, as Zen Pinball combines fast paced action and realistic graphics with the thrills of traditional pinball."

Zen Studios claims its latest pinball game will set a new standard for realistic ball physics. In addition to the traditional gameplay aiming for high scores there will also be specific missions for the player to complete. Four tables will be included in the initial download, with more available as DLC after launch.
