I replied a couple of minutes ago to a certain member of NGU trashing and flaming people who pirate games and saying that because of them sony is doing what they are doing and i just wanted to create a thread about my reply, about what i think and i just wanna share my thoughts with you people and if the MODS think this is pointless then close it...ok....



i understand SONY getting mad and i also understand treyarch getting mad..as a matter fact i totally support the "if you hack you get banned" policy i mean its just common sense if you ask me....they are just normal humans protecting what they work so hard for so you dam right they gonna take this shyt serious but let me tell you why i dont fully agree with the whole (Piracy) thing....first of all ....all this hacking and piracy bullshyt was caused by the same people that are trying to put and end to it....you sell us a system with a certain capability then all of a sudden you rip it away from us so right their you are creating a target..yes im talking about otherOS. 2...you sell us an over priced game but you dont even have the courtesy of releasing a trial version of that game so we can see if is really worth buying....yea i know some do realese demos but those are only 2 or 3 companies...so what im trynna say is this....if i see a new game coming out and theirs a demo for it? i will download the demo and if i like it ill buy it..get it? TRY BEFORE BUY? ok...now if i see a game coming out but no demos? no trial version? im gonna take that as direspect and u know what ? im gonna download that bytch from one of these torrent sites or go rent it at blockbuster and u dam right im gonna back it up and play it im gonna pay them back with the same token cuz how dare of you release a game charge 60 bucks and we cant even try it out first ? yea and then u get mad if someone pirates it? are you serious? now i will say this...one thing is to download a game and play it on your ps3 another thing is downloading a game and making a profit out of it.....see now thats wrong...so fix this lil statement about piracy..its ok if you download it for personal use...now its bad if you download it to sell it.....



its just like apple's app store...they sell us apps with no trials o demo? Wtf? And then if you buy it and u didnt like it trust me that they are not gonna give you your money back...and then if someone pirates their apps then they get mad huh? But is ok to sell us something without letting the consumer test it first? Lol...yea wateva....Steve Jobs can't stand that someone jailbreaks his lil iphone..he cant stand that someone downloads all the app store content 100% free but its funny how DMCA declared those actions completly legal...but ilegal for the ps3? Lol......so you can jailbreak one closed system but you cant jailbreak another? If i download a 4.99 app from the apple store via intallous and put it in my iphone thats 100% legal but if i download a ps3 game from a torrent site and put it in my ps3 thats ilegal? Lol omg what the world has come too...thats a shame



again if you think this thread is pointless then my apologies.... if you think im 100% incorrect then please feel free to prove me wrong.

so your the only one in the entire world who has certain opinions about piracy ? yea ok..nice try buddy.....trying to make yourself look like since you did it now everyone does it..... see right their i can see your level of capacity is very low but let me get back to the subject..the only reason i decided to open this thread is 1. i can.....2. it all started on this other thread were this dude was saying how bad piracy is and that is ilegal and this and that so i replied to him what i thought and at the same time i said im gonna convert this into a thread of my own and the subject is gonna be My Thoughts About Piracy....and if anyone wants to -rep me for speaking my mind and sharing my thoughts with the community then please be my guest...feel free to do so ....thank you!!!

Backing up your own games isnt illeage and so is modifing your ps3 that YOU OWN. its a different story if you rent games than burn em and play em. But there is a way to stay in leagle terms and still have the full game without paying a single penny.

buy any used game
go home
back it up
go back to gamestop
return the used game
get your money back
profit!

trust me dude if i had $10 or however much it is to get premium i would. but i dont even have $10....and for games ive spent over $1500 on my ps3 and all the games...so yea. :black:
