You could just downgrade unless you have tried that already.

go buy or trade in ps3

if you trade - ask them what fw it is

if your gonna buy new ps3 , its gonna be on fw below 3.56

But trade or buy quick as sony are gonna upgrade the ps3`s in stores to 3.56 by default.

@Merk i tried downgrading by bricking my ps3, slim is IMPOSSIBLE to brick
