(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok so I live in the UK and have been looking for a capture card that I can use with a HDMI cable and found this and thought I would be perfect, I have a HDMI splitter and a cable going to TV and a cable going to my PC, now I just need to get this and put it in to my PC, I then plug in the HDMI and use the software that comes with the part, this then allows me to display my games on the PC screen, I now use FRAPS to record my gamplay live off my PC screen while I play on my TV, ok so now I want to know if anyone has this and if I have this process right?? Thx and rep to anyone that can help.

You carnet, these some sort of protection used in HDMI I think it's called HDCP and makes it so you candy record anything on this, so you have to put it on the PC and then record what is show on the screen, so you have to use FRAPS, or something similar.

This is why all HD PVR's use composite or component, which ever one that it is.
