After buying a heat gun and thermal composte i fixed it quite easily just following the steps of these videos
How to dissable ps3:

cuz RLOD ( its RSOD Btw : Red Screen Of Death ) had NOTHING to do with a bad connection like the YLOD ( Yellow Light Of Death )
RSOD means you have a Bad NAND it IS fixable but you need infectus Modchip to read and rewrite te bad nand
i found that fix cuz i was experimenting with it and just tried to solder up my Infectus modchip on it and i was suprised it worked !
so that RSOD system ( 80GB model ) is now my infectus downgrade system for testing my Dev tools and homebrews etc.
Hope this cleared somthing up about YLOD and RSOD

Man, as i know, you are the first one who can confirm that RSOD is fixable with Infectus. you are good! Maybe some day you could give us a complete tutorial, please！

you know whats funny ?
Even Sony Doesnt Know i Believe cuz they just trade in a fixedd Ps3 when you send yours in
but yea i know allot tricks on the Ps3 even the makers doesnt knew
iam getting 2 other Ps3's( so my 5th and 6th Ps3's ) maby next month , getting one Case Modded and the other one iam going to experiment with some solder stuff
like solder the 3.41 NAND into a original 3.56 NAND
so like HARDWARE downgrading
if it is a succes we have another downgrade method wich would be very easy so we could program NAND's and sell them like a modchip but iam trying to make it as easy as possible so everybody could use it
Wich me luck hahaha =D

He just made a mistake on calling it RLOD, but if you know what he's trying to put through, it shouldn't be such a big deal, hah.

My fat 40gb black ps3 that I had since it first came out, go RLOD last week. I bought a new 160gb slim and thought i'd try and get all my saves off the old one. So i just heated the back up of the ps3 for around 10mins with a hair dryer and then cooled it down with a fan for 25mins and it worked. It still works, but its only a temporary thing, managed to get my saves off which was the main thing

Alot of people get confused with the light on the ps3 staying red, and call it rlod... Because the yellow flash is only for a split second, and if u blink u will not see it..lol.. Had my ps3 get the lyod a couple of monts ago, (fatboy), and it was pretty easy to fix.. But that ps3 got perma-banned, so its in the closet collecting dust now... Xbod rrod is easy to fix.. With tutorials like this, its even easier...
