Post: Going back to OFW

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So Sony has successfully scared me into going back to OFW because i'm a casual gamer and when I do play, I want to be able to play online. Now my PS3 hasn't had any internet access for about a month now. What i'm wondering is how can I safely go back to OFW without Sony getting pissed off and banning me.

just delete your unneeded folders that you used for your homebrew i guess, so if sony scans your system they don't get the wrong idea.

To be honest, i went straight from 3.55CFW to 3.56OFW with out doing anything extra like deleting stuff first etc and did not experience any bricking or anything like that and you will not get banned, so if you're not sure how you gonna do it and if you're scared here follow comfired safe way of doing it.

Anyone have a link to an official 3.56 FW? I want to update to OFW just to be 100% safe before I connect it to the internet.

Do a barrel roll!
Just delete any dodgy data on your hard drive and then update to the official firmware, either that or re-format your hard drive (make sure you backup any save first though)
