My other ps3 is not working (does not read games for some reason).I want the 3.15 ps3 to go to 3.41 or 3.55 and CFW then back up patches?

What PS3 is it? Fat 40gb?

It doesn't load to the XMB? It sounds like it could be bricked. You will have to search around here for a fix for that. Your other PS3 isn't reading games? Is it just games or is it not reading any disc at all?

no discs at all tryed a blu ray movie and it didnt work and i tried at least all my games.& on my other ps3 yea it doesnt load xmb my dad said he found a guy that fixes them in like 35 min. so hes gonna talk with him

The not loading to the XMB is bricked. The other one has a laser problem. Open the case up and clean the laser. If that doesn't fix it, replace it.
