Post: hypothetical question

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i have a question about all the banning of the PSN consoles and jailbreakers. I was wondering since you're console is banned or is in danger of being banned. Is there a possible way for the hackers or developers to create an online game play network? I mean since they were able to reverse engineer the ps3 and create homebrew apps..isn't there some hypothetical way to create a new network where we would be allowed to do what we want how we want instead of listening to sony's actions and ways? i know it'd probably take money but i'll pay for a subscription if i have to.

They are already working on doing that. If you look around here a little bit, there's a thread about this thing called PSKinect, and there's a team of guys working to bring together an alternative online gameplay network. I'm thinking it will sort of work like XLink Kai does, but without the need for your computer to be running the software.

I refer you to my above post. If XLink Kai can provide us with LAN play, then why can't we have a PS3-native application that does that too?
