Okay I successfully reinstalled 3.55OFW on a perviously 3.56v2OFW. I took hard drive out and formatted it and open up the PS3 and removed the motherboards battery for 48hour then reinstalled the hard drive and then put the battery in. Then I started it up at the recovery menu and it just asked for and updated on a USB.

I got the FAT PS3 to roll back to OFW 3.55 But the Slim got stuck in the restore menu. So nobody try to do it my way on a slim. Also it helps to make sure it's cold as posable when trying it my way.
