The Limited Edition of Battlefield 3 will come with a four maps from Battlefield 2 that have been recreated with the Frostbite 2.0 engine. Battlefield players have always had their favorites but now we know which maps will be included in "Back to Karkand."

According to a post from DICE community Manager Daniel Matros at the Official Battlefield forum these are your "Back to Karkand" DLC maps.

* Wake Island
* Strike at Karkand
* Gulf of Oman
* Sharqi Peninsula

There were twelve maps included with Battlefield 2. Matros couldn't confirm whether or not anymre maps would be remade for the newest version of DICE's military shooter.

Battlefield 3 is schedule to be released sometime this Fall.

How's that Dumb?

Just in-case you don't know, those maps were the most popular in Battlefield 2, to see the in again with upgraded graphics is going to make a lot of people cheer.
