if i format my ps3 will it change my software/firmware to lower then 3.56 or does it only format my hdd?
it will erase all data on your hdd such as game saves backups ect however if your ps3 is jailbroken it wont delete the jb you need ofw for that it will leave the console on the current applied ofw or cfw
