So, I'm getting a new head set and want to get either one of these; the Tritton AX720's or Tritton AX Pro's. Now theres a price difference of around £35. I was wondering if any of the NGU community have used these headsets and could give me any insight on which one to choose. To me the AX Pro's look really complicated to set up, however they are £35 more expensive for a reason right? So I'm confused.

I am looking to use these for GB on the PS3 and maybe on the Xbox. I also play COD4 on PC so I will be using them for that too.

Any opinions or information welcome.

i have the 720s and the pros the 720s are a really good headset for the price however axpros have Superior sound quality the mic is super clear for just around a few more dollars the pros are the way to go ultimatley i love both of them but if i had no choice but to throw 1 away bye bye 720's

Appreciate that information =) So looks like I will be going for the AX Pro's. Is it easy to set them up? By the looks of things it seems complicated with the set up of each speaker.

P.S. Any idea why the pictures don't come up? I'm a noob when it comes to new thread making.

I have the 720's and they are really good. Except for the mic that has to be in precisely one position or it doesen't work ... I guess you should go with the Pros because they seem to be more "Pro".

i have both as well. If you have the money, definitely get the Pros. The quality over all is amazing.

The 720s aren't bad at all. i retired them from my ps3 and use them for my pc.

You really can't go wrong with either, its just if you wanna spend the cash.

The cons to the 720s is, like mentioned, the mic has to be really close to your mouth to work properly. I don't know about anyone else, but i also noticed that when im quickscoping on mw2, the 720s will cut out for a split second when i shoot sometimes.
