most likely it has the ylod check your light if you do it will come on hit a 3 beep quickly turn yellow then back to a solid or blinking red
you can fix this yourself if you know what your doing but sony will charge 150 i think
or if it stays green and flashes yellow its a hdd fail

Your HDD is shot, needs replacement.

well does it stay gereen with yellow flashes through it if it does u need a new hdd

it stay green for like 20-30 sec then just shuts off by it self

yup that it and no i cant

im not positive on what causes it but if you dont have a hdd to switch out
(any 2.5inch sata)
then try calling sony they will send u a new console if ur under warranty if not they may charge you a little bit idk

What exactly is your PS3 doing? If you give better details, then someone her can definitely help you.
