(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, well I was just looking around and went to Geohots twitter, here is what I found.

Been on any of Geohot websites? Sony wants your IP... (RT & Spread the word)

There was a link, I went the site here ya go, (copy and paste.)

It looks like Sony will never stop fighting against PS3 jailbreakers especially that intelligent hacker George Hotz. As reported by Wired, a federal magistrate is granting Sony the right to obtain the IP addresses of anyone who visited the web presences of hardware hacker George Hotz between January 2009 and the present day.
Not only that, Sony has also got the right to get data from YouTube, Google and Twitter. In case you usually visit the official site of Geohot, which has been posted on it PS3 jailbreak keys, you may be sued by Sony.

Besides, Sony will get the IP of anyone who watches Geohot channel on YouTube. Anyone who's downloaded the jailbreak.zip file from Geohot's site would be got by Sony.

Anyone want to call sony and ask them what there going to do?
03-06-2011, 01:16 AM #14
They can't do that! If they try to prove anything they will lose. They can't just Sue someone without legit proof that they have jailbroken there System. Lets say you knew they were going to try an sue you, just remove your Jailbreak. Then what? Everyone that has Jailbroken there PS3s I dont think there is anything to worry about.

Can’t trickshot me!
The jailbreak itself is not the focus of the lawsuit, it's the intellectual property owned by Sony that he released in the form of their key. The most action they can take against users, would be prove they had installed the jb, (which is not illegal but does violate your agreements as a user) and then ban you from access to PSN. I installed it, I also removed everything and updated to 3.56 right after 3.56 was released. If they ban all of us that have done the same, things sure will be slowing down on the PSN, they will also be losing a shit load of money in the long run.

I don't see Sony suing us all for visiting a site. They may just want to IP ban us from the PSN though, which they can, but suing everyone for just looking at a site. It would all be hear say really, I mean what if I went to Google and searched 'I forgot my ps3 logging keys' and got sent to the jb site? I would be sued just for looking. Against so many laws its not even funny. Sony may just want the IP's for the big game hackers just to help build a case against them, but Sony trying to sue a million people for looking at a site is more then just ludicrous and even a crooked judge would toss that out of court in a second.
