Modern radio hits meet vintage industrial, punk, and southern rock in next week's Rock Band DLC. Scottish rockers Franz Ferdinand lead the charge with a three-pack of songs for $5.49 (440 Microsoft points), along with a bevy of tracks from five highly contrasting bands. Songs purchased individually will go for $1.99 (160 Microsoft points) when they become available next Tuesday, May 5 on the Xbox Live Marketplace and next Thursday, May 7 on the PlayStation Store.
Next week's DLC includes:

"Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand
"Do You Want To" by Franz Ferdinand
"Lucid Dreams" by Franz Ferdinand
"Smooth Criminal" by Alien Ant Farm
"Blue Sky" by The Allman Brothers Band
"Midnight Rider" by The Allman Brothers Band
"Drain the Blood" by The Distillers
"Naked Eye" by Luscious Jackson
"Idealistic Types" by Prong
"The Banishment" by Prong
Guitar Hero World Tour might have "Beat It" on lockdown for now, but that's not stopping Harmonix from dropping a notably rad cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal". When the true King of Pop just isn't an option, Alien Ant Farm makes a more than suitable surrogate Jacko.
